Moving along

Greetings!
Things are moving on along well here at ST. Rose. We are starting to get into a routine with the youth nights and I am getting to know more of the teens. These last couple of weeks the Life Teen group has been learning more about the Bible and the Edge group has been learning about the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We have also had great attendance at our Wednesday night group TmT (Thomas More's Teens). This past week at TmT we began our study of what the Bible teaches us about Mary. This weekend is the Parish picnic and this Sunday night for Life Teen we will have "Ask Pete" night. I have promised the teens I will answer any and all their questions that they have about me or whatever. It should be interesting. This coming Tuesday we will be having our first "Apologetti" night. This is open to the parish and will include a spaghetti dinner followed by a Catholic Apologetics presentation by me on salvation.
Some other exciting things that are coming up include the "Teens with Christ" retreat in October and NCYC (National Catholic Youth Convention) in November. Please continue to pray for the youth programs here at St. Rose as we settle in to this new program!
